Troubleshooting
My weapon feels slow or drains high stamina.
Check the weight of your blade. Heavy blades increase the stamina cost and slow down the attack speed of fast handles. Invest points in Capacity to increase your weight limit, and keep your total weight load below 60% to maintain fast stamina recovery.
My attacks deal low damage.
Make sure your blade type (Slash or Stab) matches the handle's attack style. If your stats favor Technique, use Eugénie to apply a Technique Crank to the handle. If you fight puppets, make sure you are using Electric Blitz damage rather than Fire.
I cannot find the Wandering Merchant in the Malum District.
The merchant sits upstairs inside the Red Lobster Inn, reached from the Stargazer in the first room via the ladder. He will not trade until you prove you are not hunting him. Use one of three options: bring the Smiling Bunny Mark from the graveyard near the Path of the Pilgrim Stargazer, bribe him with a Radiant Ergo Fragment, or defeat the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.
