Before You Start

Required Gadgets

Three gadgets gate your access to collectibles throughout the campaign. Pick them up during your first playthrough, then return with Chapter Select if you missed items earlier.

In-Game Tracking

The pause menu (Touchpad on PlayStation) tracks collectibles by type, not by chapter. You can see how many Playing Cards or Intel files you have, but not which chapter holds the ones you missed. Use the chapter-by-chapter tables below to cross-reference your count.

Use these checklists if you know which category you are missing items from.

Playing Cards (36) — Trophy: Casino Royale

Cards use a European playing card design with four suits: Acorns, Roses, Bells, and Shields. Each suit has nine cards (7, 8, 9, Under, Ober, King, Ace, Banner, and 6). Cards glow faintly when you scan the room with the Q-Watch.

Intel / MI6 Files (23) — Trophy: For Your Eyes Only

Intel files do not look uniform. Some appear as folders on desks, others as photographs, physical objects like a wooden spoon, or computer terminals. Each Intel item is tied to a character or organization in the story. They stay in the environment after you interact with them, so you cannot pick them up a second time for confirmation. Check your pause menu count to verify.

Mementos (14) — Trophy: Recovered Assets

Mementos are personal objects scattered through the campaign. They range from a cocktail napkin to a snow globe. Most sit on desks, shelves, or inside containers that the Q-Watch will highlight.

Postcards (10) — Trophy: The World Is Not Enough

One postcard per major location in the story. They tend to appear on tables, pinboards, or desks in public-facing areas of each chapter.

Legacy Items (9) — Trophy: A Legacy of Spycraft

Legacy Items reference previous Bond films and novels. Expect to find them in display cases, trophy rooms, and secured storage areas. Several require the Laser Strap to open their containers.

Troubleshooting

My collectible count seems wrong

The menu tracks by type, not by chapter. Compare your Card, Intel, Memento, Postcard, and Legacy counts against the totals above (36, 23, 14, 10, 9). If one category is short, use the chapter tables to identify which specific item you missed.

I picked up an item but the count did not change

Intel files stay in the environment after you interact with them. If you see a file you think you collected before, check your pause menu. You may have grabbed it on a previous run. If the count is still short, try restarting the chapter from the checkpoint and collecting the item again.

I cannot reach an item behind a locked barrier

You need the Laser Strap, which unlocks in Chapter 9. If you are in an earlier chapter, mark the location and return through Chapter Select after Chapter 9. Several items in Chapters 10 through 17 require the Laser Strap to cut through locks, grates, and sealed cases.

Can I collect items on any difficulty?

Yes. Collectibles appear on all difficulty settings. Your progress carries across difficulties, so switching mid-playthrough does not reset your collection.

FAQ

Are any collectibles missable?

No. Chapter Select lets you revisit every checkpoint in the game. Grab any item and quit to the menu; it saves on pickup.

Do I need to finish the game before using Chapter Select?

No. Chapter Select is available from the start of your second chapter onward. You can jump back to Chapter 1 at any point.

What order should I collect items in?

Play through the campaign once to unlock all three key gadgets (Q-Watch in Chapter 4, Dart Phone in Chapter 5, Laser Strap in Chapter 9). Then use Chapter Select to sweep each chapter in order, starting from Chapter 1.

How long does a full collectible run take?

A cleanup run through all 17 chapters takes roughly 3 to 5 hours if you follow a guide, depending on how many items you found during your first playthrough.
